Epigenetics of breast cancer - (Jun/22/2013 )

I want to design a project on epigenetics of breast cancer (as per my supervisor's instructions) for my research thesis. could anyone guide what i can do on this topic. i have searched and read research papers but couldn't decide, as i am new to the field.

This topic is too broad. Do you or your boss have a specific hypothesis to test? Epigenetics cold be involved in aberrant gene regulation, used as biomarkers, reversal of some forms of epigenetic changes can be a therapy. So it depends on what question you are interested.

Thanks for your response. actually i want to sort out if any altered DNA methylation patterns are associated with malignancy. can you help ?
