how to detect the modification like phosphorylation on one amino acid locus of o - (May/30/2013 )

I have one mutation on one protein. I would like to know if the modification on this mutated amino acid is different from wild type. Any method is capable to detect it? Thx.

here are some of which i am aware:

depending on the modification and site

phosphorylation can be detected by western blot or elisa (if the epitope is exposed) with an antibody to the phosphorylated site.

methylation can be detected by microarray and sequencing.

glycosylation can be detected by mass spectrometry.

there are most likely other ways.
