Membrane protein extraction - (May/13/2013 )

Hey guys,
I wanna extract membrane proteins (cell membrane, mitochondrial,& nuclear membrane) as per the protocol i have to centrifuge the cell homogenate at 100000g for 10min. since i dnt have a high speed centrifuge can i centrifuge it at 50,000g increasing the time. will i get the membrane proteins separated?

it should work if you at least double the time

Our lab routinely uses 40-50,000 x g for 1hr to spin out membranes and collect the soluble fraction for subsequent protein purification.
