Distinguish murine and human cells by surface staining? - (Sep/27/2012 )

Hi!

We are in the need to select antibodies to distinguish between mouse and human cells. We need antibodies that can distinguish between these two species, i.e. not cross-react. The targets needs to be general enough to get at any cell typ from each specie. We would like to use the antibodies to stain whole cells and get pictures in our confocal microscope, i.e. surface targets for the antibodies. It would be of immense help if you could recommend any such antibodies.

With my best regards,
