coating cover-slides before seeding cells for fluorescent microscopy - (Aug/15/2012 )

does anyone have some experiences with this?
I just need my cells to stick better to the glass, nothing fancy. Im wondering with coating agent to use. Some people use collagen, some with poly L-lysine or some other stuff.
thx in advance!

It depends on the cell type as to what works best. Collagen (gelatine) and lysine are common ones and are pretty simple to use: make a solution, pour over the coverslips, aspirate and let dry.

I have found:

Those look fine. There are many variations on the procedure, depending on who developed it, and people's preferences in terms of work flow. All of them work in my experience.
