what will happen if you let your affinity column beads dry? - (Aug/08/2012 )
does anyone know what will really happen? I know that it's going to wreck the column, but what does actually happen? thanks

depends on the beads...
can cause breakage leading to "fines" which will interfere with the flow of mobile phase (the technical term is "clog the column")
