Culture HEK293T with poly-lysine - (Apr/12/2012 )

Hi, All

I am wondering which molecular weight of poly-lysine is more suitable for culturing HEK293T cells on the coverslips, the 70000-150000 or the 150000-300000? The website of Sigma Aldrich just says that MW>70000 is suitable for cell culture.

Thanks for help!

I asked the same question 3 years ago in here. We tried different molecular weights and they all worked. They have two main types, L-Lysine and D-lysine. Both must be fine. I used D-lysine.
there are precoated coverslips also available. Sigma has some?! becareful with contamination during coating. use UV.
