diluted bafilomycin in too much DMSO - (Apr/03/2012 )

Hi,

I made a mistake of diluting bafilomycin in 3200 uL instead of 320 uL DMSO.
The DMSO usually comes to 0.2% in 1 ml of media in a 6-well plate.
If I use the latest batch I made by mistake, the DMSO will be 2%.
Will this be too much for my MEF cells?
Is there anything I can do?
(put 10 ml of media in 6 well? not sure it can take that much, but then I'll have the same amount of bafilomycin and same concentration of DMSO in the wells)

Thanks!

2% is a lot. DMSO damages the cell membranes, so I don't think you will be able to use the dilution you have made. Throw it out and start again...
