Infecting cells with virus - (Apr/01/2012 )

I have to infect cell with ss RNA+ virus. This virus can replicate in cell however there is no receptor to permit phagocytosis of virus, this is why I must infect cell.

I plan on transfecting viral genetic material via microinjection, but once again am wondering if viral cDNA or RNA is the better route?

Thanks

I work with NDV. It is a -ss RNA virus. We infect with 30 HA for every 10^6 cells for 24-78 hrs according to Schirrmacher et al. 1999.
