Western transfer tank heating up - (Mar/06/2012 )

Is it normal for the transfer tanks to heat up substantially? (feels like 20C).
I normally do my runs with an ice brick + placed tank in the cold room.

what volt/ how long? It can get pretty warm at the end of the run (I could run up to 2 hours) at room temperature.

Yeah the tank usually gets heated if you try to run it too long or O/N.A large volume of buffer till the top of the tank dissipates the heat generate and extra conductivity during the transfer.
