How to find the peptide fragment of target gene？ - (Nov/28/2011 )
Now， I want to study the peptide fragment of new gene, but i don't know how and where i can find. So ,I will very glad to get some experience. If NCBI can find, can tell me how to find with a example.
Do you mean the protein sequence of a gene? It is easy. You can search NCBI gene database to find the gene. On the gene page, the protein sequences are listed somewhere in the middle. For example this is the page for p53 gene http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/7157
