Primer design - (Jul/30/2011 )

Hi everyone,

Is there any software or program that is good for primer design and can allow me to see whether there is hairpin formed or complementary sequences between two primers.

The "Tools" menu on the IDT web site has a nice tool for this. http://idtdna.com

Here you are: Biotool on this site - http://www.protocol-online.org/tools/sms2/pcr_primer_stats.html

try to google "oligonucleotide calculator" or just paste this "http://www.basic.northwestern.edu/biotools/oligocalc.html " into your box...
it gives u a tool to calculate Tm, GC content, blast primer, complementary or primer dimer possibilities...etc..just check it very useful!!

Have a good try
