RPMI 1640 media - (Jul/07/2011 )

Hi...

As per supplier instructions RPMI 1640 media (with L-glutamine and phenol red) needs to be stored in the frige at 4 degree, were as RPMI 1640 media (without L-glutamine and phenol red)must be stored at room temperature. my question is that if i add L-glutamine should the media then be stored in the fidge?

Yes. L-glutamine is somewhat unstable at room temperature.
