Question regarding pellet sticking on tubes - (Jun/15/2011 )

Trying to centrifuge down some bone marrow cells (previously treated with radiation) (with 60 sec, highest speed on the small centrifuge) cells are in 1 ml PBS (and with a concentration of 10^6 cells/ml) in 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes... after spinning, nothing occurred.. then increased spinning times, did not have much improvement. any suggestions? Thank you guys!

You said the pellet stuck to the tubes? Are you using a fixed angele rotor or swing bucket rotor? If you use the latter, you will get the pellet at the bottom of the tube.

I do work with BM, but it should become pellet, maybe you just cannot see the pellet
