Stability of DNA at RT - (Jun/04/2011 )

Hi all,

I need to create a PCR kit that can be stored at room temperature. How stable would DNA primers be if suspended in dH2O or TE, and left at room temperature?

IF the oligos are in TE buffer, they should be stable for a few weeks. If you want to create a kit that contains oligos and is to be stored at RT, you can lyophilize it to make dry state DNA which is very stable at RT.
