running multiple qPCR with common housekeeping control - (Jun/03/2011 )

Hello all,
was trying to get an answer today from my labmates, would also like your inputs on this.

I have several samples (time kinetic) so that I can use one 96-well plate barely for one houskeeping and one test gene of interest. second problem is I have nearly 15 different gene to study. Wanted to know, if I can employ only one plate with housekeeping controls and use the ct value to make dct ddct for test genes. just to save time and money.
what is your experience, please help me with it.
thanks
vg

I think it is fine.

Yes you can, you only need to put all samples (calibrator and unknown) on the same plate/run.
