RNA extraction Question - (Feb/16/2011 )

Has anybody used the RNA extraction kits other than Qiagen for RNA extraction from bacteria. If yes could you plesae let me know the name of the vendor and little bit information about yield.

I have tried using Qiagen and TriZol for my RNA extraction. QIagen give a more purity of my RNA sample and the band appeared when I ran the gel. Compared to the TriZol, no band appeared on the gel eventhough it had a slightly higher of RNA concentration (using nanodrop)
