PCR Master mix - (Dec/20/2010 )

Can anyone tell me the difference between TaqMan® Gene Expression Master Mix and TaqMan® Universal PCR Master Mix (2X)from ABI? I was wondering if the former can be used for real time RT PCR using cDNA? The latter is way too expensive

If I remember correctly, I used the TaqMan gene expression mastermix and my qPCR worked.
