Glycerol - Autolaving (Dec/06/2010 )

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make a 20% glycerol + bacteria stock mixture. 800uL will be the DH5 alpha cells and the other 200uL will be glycerol. I'm aware that it would have to be 100% glycerol but is it okay to just autoclave pure glycerol. Probably a dumb question but I would rather be safe than sorry.
