postdoc interview???? - (Dec/03/2010 )

How looks like postdoc interview, please tell how should one have to prepare for it?????
some simple, basic and difficult questions as well. It will be interesting to know when one have to go to lab about which field one have no expereince before.....

I was invited to only one post-doc interview so far so I don't have much experience... Anyway, you should read as much as you can about the field you go into and try to tie your qualifications and experience to that field because you may expect this kind of question. Other one may be why are you interested in this field anyway. What was your biggest challenge and achievement? Could you describe how you solved some specific problem with your research? Do you have experience with coordinating/guiding undergrad students? How do you feel about working alone? etc.
