lipid permeability - (Dec/02/2010 )

Hi All ,
I want to stain helminth eggs but the problem is it has a lipid layer which is highly impermeable. Does any one have any idea about improving the permeability of lipid layer ( espeacially ascaroside layer)? like treating with xylene, or sonication or electoporation?

What have you tried so far? I would start with detergents - SDS, triton X-100, NP-40, etc.
