do u know the ingredients of ponceau staining, efficient to check the transfert on PVDF filter??

sigma sells a full strength solution that is 0.1% ponceau s in 5% acetic acid.

are you sure the ponceau was completely (or nearly) solubilized? the solution may have been weak.

if it is weak then you could stain for a longer time.
