STADEN PACKAGE - Problems with Installing staden on MAC (Oct/18/2010 )

Hello,

I am having troubles installing the Staden package for sequencing on a MAC. I seem to be able to download the programme alright but I just cant see any file which can install it on the MAC. I was wondering if anyone of you has had similar problems and was able to troubleshoot it. Please help..

I downloaded the src.tar.gz from the Sourceforge.net

did you extract the file?

use stuffit expander (download it from here)

then put the program file into your "applications" folder and double-click it.

I did use stuff fit expander.. All the files are extracted but then it does not have an executable file which you can run or load to applications folder. could you please provide the link of Staden programme from where you download it.
