NFKb signalling in cell line ??? - (Oct/18/2010 )

Hi everybody,
i got to check whether the NFKb signalling is active in a group of cell lines....is looking at the IKB-alpha (western blot) is right way to guess whether NFKb is active or not?..is there any other way to asses the active NFKb signalling in cell lines?...thanks in advance for your suggestion.

IkappaBalpha is a good way. Another way: Activation of NF-kappaB leads to its phosphorylation. Use specific anti-phospho-p65 antibodies (example), you can proof whether NF-kappaB is activated or not in a more direct way.
