Alignment report - (Oct/12/2010 )

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding an alignment report.
Does someone know a program/web-based tool that aligns amino acids and/or nucleotides AND creates a report that tells me something like "amino acid on position 123 F is converted to L"
Until now I do it manually...quite time consuming...

Thanks for all hints!

P.S.: Freeware would be best...but Shareware is OK also...

One way I've dome it quickly with multiple sequences is to run a Clustal alignment through BoxShade and select "ASCII differences" as the output format. Or you can just use Clustal to do the alignment and scan the consensus line.
