proteinase k inhibition/inactivation - method... (Oct/08/2010 )

i am working on a RT-PCR method...i have used "proteinase k" for treatment of sample, tried heat inactivation method the proteinase k but resulted in precipitation of my samples.
could anyone tell me other methods for Proteinase K inhibition/inactivation.

It's hard to tell anything when you didn't described what exactly are you doing (what protocol) and why.

PMSF will inhibit proteinase-K. It's pretty toxic, and not stable in water, so you have to prepare solutions (in isopropanol) fresh. Careful.
