cGMP detection - Lookting for cGMP measurement method (Sep/28/2010 )

Dear colleages,

I want to measure intracellular increase of cGMP after stimulation of cells with a factor that poosibly inceases cGMP formation. Does anybody has exprience with that? I only could find assay kits for about 500 euro in 96 well formate (ELISA like, with secondary antibody coupled to the well bottom und primary antibody solution that can be mixed with a cell lysate).

much more cheaper is thin layer chromatography

I do not know if there is an enzyme test around...
