SNP and DNA methylation - (Sep/24/2010 )

Quick question:

SNPs in CpG dinucleotides eg. CG/T. with the G allele the CpG is methylated, with the T allele there is no metylation. I assume this is a common occurrence but how common and does anybody have a good reference?
