DNA product almost 1500 bp - (Aug/27/2010 )
What percentage of the gel is optimal for pcr product around 1500bp? I used 1.5% and obtain a very slight faint band. Is this due to the percentage of my gel? I have repeated by increasing dna template as well

0.8 % agarose gel is enough to see the 1500 bp length.
