Co-IP on nuclear fraction - (Jul/26/2010 )

Hi,

Im just starting both nuclear extraction and co-ip's Im just wondering if I have to use the same lysis buffer in the nuclear extraction as when im washing the beads during the ip protocol? Im going to use a kit for nuclear extraction - and so will use that lysis buffer, and then make up my own lysis buffer for use in the washing steps during the IP part... will this be ok, or should I use the same buffer??
Thanks in advance!

sure, you can use your own buffer for washing.
