Mounting Medium for DIG in situ - (Jul/15/2010 )

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a mounting medium for DIG-labelled in situ.

Since the DIG will give a blue signal, I think the DAPI mounting medium usually used in my lab might not be that good. I am thinking of using a HE stain to distinguish the cells. Anyone has good suggestions?

Thank you!

The DIG colour is blue to the eye, as fas as I know it is not fluorescent, so mounting in DAPI wouldn't alter DAPI fluorescence. You could mount them in standard DPX or some other colour neutral mounting medium.
