what type of media for gingiva fibroblast tissue culture? - (Jul/02/2010 )

Hi everybody..

im very sad with my culture. i did gingiva primary explant to get fibroblast but its seem like fibroblast is not grow..can anyone help me with my problem?what type of media should i use to this purposes? thank you..

Any sort of medium should work. Commonly used ones are DMEM and RPMI 1640. You may have to play around with the serum content and or digestion processes to get the fibroblasts out and growing.

after this i'm going to add hydrocortisone and EGF to my media.

i have used many of DMEM, but its still not working.
i want to use collagenase after this for enzymatic.
do u know the step to do this enzymatic technique?
