database for LD50 - (May/08/2010 )

Dear All
does anyone knows a database for LD50 values?
thanks

Check with your MSDS provider. Some allow you to access the database rather than looking at each compound individually.

this is really a good site, according to it the IP LD50 of amoxicillin in rats is about 2800 mg/kg, still I want to know what was the solvent used as a vehicle to inject this high concentration, there is no hyperlink to the reference mentioned, and googling that reference name (drugs in japan) yields thousands of non specific results do you have any idea?
thanks

Sorry pal you'd have to interloan the article or someting, and probably learn japanese!

I'd think it would be the Na salt in saline, I think thats usual procedure for IP administration. My office mate does IP LD50s in rats ill ask him when hes around.
