Microplate for fluorescence spectrophotometer - (Apr/21/2010 )

Hi all,
I wonder what is the right microplate for fluorescence spectrophotometer. If I remember correctly, it should be dark wall microplate. However, a colleague of mine told me that normal ELISA plate is fine.

Many thanks in advance.

Darkwalled plates prevent erroneous readings through fluorescence from surrounding wells that may be observed with conventional clear walled plates.
