TCA and protein percipitation? - (Apr/04/2010 )

When I used to TCA to percipitate proteins from diluted solution (extraction from plant), the color of the solution changed to be a little pink.
Does any one what is the reason?

what was in the solution?

some component, either in your extraction solution or from the plant, is changing color due to the reduction of pH.
