G(-) that wont grow on MAC??? - (Mar/28/2010 )
I have an unidentified sample of gram negative rods that grew on BA but would not grow on MAC. I dont know what i am missing...MAC is specific for gram -ve but why wont it grow? Any ideas???!!!

Not all GN's will grow on MAC, usually just Enterics and some nonfermenters.
