to keep sds-pa gels - (Mar/17/2010 )

Hello!

I am new, so this may be a stupid question :lol:

I have made sds polyacrylamide gels today in order to use tomorrow. Normally we wrap that with wet paper and then with alu-foil; but I came home a few hours ago and now I realized that I forgot to wrap it at all! It stands under the fume hood.

My question is, is it possible to use this gel tomorrow?
OR, now it is 4 hours since I made it, my lab is not far so would it work if I go wrap it and leave at 4degrees?

go wrap the gel. it should still be okay.

we often pour gels in the morning and start them in the late afternoon (we run large gels overnight).

I wrapped it after my msg and it looks like it is running fine now
