But this website borders on the impertinent. I think everybody knows who's behind 'Supplier Z' and 'Supplier Q'. And their benchmarks can only be reached in their dreams. I've recently tested and compared all available bisulfite-conversion kits and only two kits turned out to give high-conversion rates, high yields, high purity of the eluate and a low DNA-degradation. And these were the kits from 'Supplier Z' and Supplier Q'. Just to mention it: the bottom quality was reached by the Epigentek kit. Save your precious samples and don't use this kit!

Really? i don't know, I've had some pretty good experiences with an Epigentek kit (not for bisulfite conversion though). I started with Sigma's bisulfite and global DNA methylation quantitation kits until someone in these forums mentioned they were just re-badged Epigentek kits.

maybe I'm wrong -- but thanks for the info!
