Software for determination of kinetic parameters - (Feb/26/2010 )

Hi,

I've generated improved mutants of my favorite enzyme, and now I need to determine their kinetic parameters (specially Vmax). I've obtained a gross estimation using Lineweaver-Burke plots made with Excel. But I read that, although such linear representations are useful for visualizing data, they should not be used to determine kinetic parameters, as computer software is readily available for more accurate determination by nonlinear regression methods.

Can anybody recommend a software (preferably free) to carry out such analyses ?

Thank you !
