Who can help me with my stupid mistake - wrong first antibody (Feb/23/2010 )

Hi, All

I made a mistake in the primary antibody incubation. Instead of using the primary antibody, I used the secondary antibody to incubate with the membrane overnight. I wonder whether I can just wash the membrane and incubate the primary antibody and then secondary antbody again or I need to strip the membrane to start from the scratch. Thank you.

just wash the blot couple of times, then continue as usual with primary followed by secondary.

i usually strip with stripping buffer for 15mins n restart everything but if the method recommended by scolix works, do post here ok so I can learn at least sumting new.
