Experience with YM-30 microcon columns from Millipore - (Feb/01/2010 )

I would like to concentrate my RNA samples with YM-30 microcon columns. I was wondering if anybody has some feedback (positive or negative) to give me about this product and its potential impact on cDNA synthesis for microarray analysis.

I been using Amicon column for the purification of labeled DNA for aCGH microarray study. Works fine for me.

Hello,
we used them for arrays as well, most of the time it was ok, but sometimes it was not optimal. Trouble was the inversion step to get the sample in a reduced volume. Besides, not in all columns, the coloured "rubber-made" ring within the column was ok.
No clue about real alternative - perhaps some stuff of Qiagen?
