hi all ....
i have isolate proteinase inhibitors from the soybean.
can u plz suggest me the best method to remove the fats present5 in the soyaflour..
plz help me...

For fat extraction from plants to extract proteins for allergenpreparation we use a soxlett extraction with ether followed bij frees drying.

thanx but i hav query.....
in soxhlet we heat the solution which may adversly affect the proteins of my interest.....
and wht is allergenpreperation. wht is protocol for it? can u give me some more detail plz...

di-Ethylether has a boilingpoint of 35oC and will almost not harm proteins.
This extraction is done to remove the fats from the starting material i.e peanuts, the further protocol depends on the use for the starting material as elisa, blotting or skinprick to confirm a allergy for the starting material
