anti flag anti his antibody - (Dec/28/2009 )

I expressed flag and his tagged proteins in CHO mammalian cells and I must detect them by ELISA or western blotting. we dont have any expirence about this in our lab, there are some suppliers but I dont know which anti flag or anti his antibody has lower bachground, is there any help?

I have just bought my anti-flag and haven't used it yet but I think flag is under Sigma. my anti-flag is called M2. there is another clone called M5.

The M2 Flag antibody is a pretty good antibody. It recognizes the Flag tag in almost every configuration and works for just about every assay. Some Flag antibodies only recognize the flag tag when it is at certain locations on the protein so you will want to double check any antibodies you look at to make sure they will recognize your flag tag.
