weak ChIP signal. Help!!! - (Dec/09/2009 )

Hi, I am a newbie in ChIP field, and I had big trouble with ChIPing the polycomb proteins (ezh2 and suz12) in cancer cells. Does anyone have experience in ChIPing these proteins? Which are the best antibodies for these proteins? What are the best positive sites for these proteins?

This is way out of my area of expertise (which is behavioral neuroscience), but don't the polycomb proteins interact with the Hox genes? I was just reading the Nov 27th issue of science about spatial cell biology and they mentioned this. That may be a good positive control. I'm sure ChIP has been done with Hox genes....just a thought....
