Lb-kan plates life - How long can they be used? (Dec/07/2009 )

How long can LB-Kanamycin plates good if they are stored at 4 C?

At least 3 months (if in a closed container). I've used ones 6 months old with no problems.

u can also cover ur plates with parafilm, to avoid contamination problems.
