p53 +/- matched-pair tumor cell lines? - (Dec/06/2009 )

Hi,

IŽll try to test some new antitumoral compounds in cytotoxicity assays. Hopefully these compounds will have an antiproliferative activity against p53 Null cells. Is there any matched-pair cell line available so we can test our compounds on p53 positive tumor cells and p53 mutated/Null cells? Thanks in advance! :)

There's some HCT116 cells around that are isogenic (I think), though they do contain some of the isoforms of p53, so p53 may still have partial function.

You have MEF p53 (-/-) and MEF wt. You can use as well H1299 p53 null cells
