calculation - total ooncentration (Oct/06/2009 )

Hi,

I have a stock solution of 500um/ml of drug. I need a final concentration of 10um/ml in 2ml medium. Are my calculations correct?

I add 40ul of stock solution of drug to 1.96ml medium?

Thanks

Correct. You can always use this link http://www.graphpad.com/quickcalcs/molarityform.cfm to check your math.

Its a simple formula to Calculate Molarity.Divide the number of moles of solute by the volume of solution in litre.
i.e (No. Of Moles) / (Volume Of Sol).
Or you can use the Molarity Calculator Here My link
