size of fungal DNA - (Sep/30/2009 )
Can anyone pls let me know the size of Fusarium chlamydosporum DNA... just a idea atleast
Go to NCBI and search for "Genome project" - "fungi". You will get an overview on the size of sequenced genomes....there are some Fusarium spp among them. Maybe you get a clue there. But remember than fungal genomes are not very stable for some groups (I am no expert on Fusarium).

Thank you sooo much... ya i checked in NCBI but F. chla is not there.. actually i got the DNA band little bit above the 3 Kb lane. i just want to confirm it... can you give me any other guidance Pls....
You are talking about 3000bp????? If you want to check the size/quality of you gDNA, it should be larger than 20k on an agarose gel.
