antibody differences - (Sep/25/2009 )

I have X antibody one was produced in mouse and the other from rabbit, can anybody describe what is the expected differences regarding the reaction with target protein?

One thing though is that mouse monoclonal antibodies typically give less non-specific background than similar polyclonal rabbit antibodies (again due to the epitope).
