I have X antibody one was produced in mouse and the other from rabbit, can anybody describe what is the expected differences regarding the reaction with target protein?

There aren't any expected differences per se as antibodies differ in their reaction with target proteins even between different bleeds of the same animal, let alone between species, and much more depends on the choice of epitope than the species of origin. One thing though is that mouse monoclonal antibodies typically give less non-specific background than similar polyclonal rabbit antibodies (again due to the epitope).
