  Can you autoclave liquid media?
  Answer
  No. It may cause breakdown of glucose, L-glutamine and other components. There is only one media that can withstand autoclaving: MEM Autoclavable catalog number 11700. Note: Catalog number 21800 (MEM, Earle's, DPM, autoclavable, w/o GLUT) was discontinued. It is only available now as a custom order.
